Cold weather, heartwarming beers
25 new beers mark the start of the darker days
Happy Friday!
Let's start the weekend off with some great news: Two weeks after a state of local emergency was announced, Persephone Brewing has announced that the water restrictions on brewing have been lifted.
This week, we have 25 new beers for you to check out. Lots of variety for lovers of seasonal beers. With the cold weather hitting us hard, it's no surprise that BC's breweries were ready for the turn of the season. We're starting to see lots of winter ales, porters and stouts on the release list, and that just makes us very happy.
You know what else is making us happy? You. Seriously. We launched our referral program on Tuesday and many of you have already unlocked rewards. Don't miss out. Refer just one friend, and you're entered into our monthly 4-pack beer giveaway! Scroll down for details.

FEATURED NEW BEER RELEASES
Power Ale
Ile Sauvage Brewing has collaborated with Whistle Buoy Brewing to make a beer for those who love to be active. Power Ale is a pale ale recipe with orange zest and juice, goji berry powder and delicious Citra Cryo dry hops. Who needs Gatorade when you can have this?
Available: On tap at the brewery, and in 4-packs to go
Twenty Pounder DIPA
Driftwood Brewery has started shipping out Twenty Pounder Double IPA throughout BC. This one sports a sizeable hop load, with Amarillo, Centennial and Mosaic to bring out guava, grapefruit, and melon flavours. All of that supported by a malt body.
Available: at select liquor stores.
Tahitian Vanilla Porter
It's that time of year, so why not feature two dark beers, right? This one from Moody Ales sounds absolutely decadent with Tahitian vanilla and a flavour profile full of fruity and floral notes, all supported by a deep layer of sweetness and a satin mouthfeel.
Available: In cans, at the brewery

SOMETHING FUN
We found this Reddit topic interesting, if for no other reason than discovering that Mile Zero Brewing is opening soon in Metchosin. But also, we've never seen every BC brewery logo in one graphic. Which brand is your favourite? Hit us up with a reply!

Wordle
Last week's Wordle clue: "Campeones, Campeones, olé olé oléeeeee."
The answer? Wee Laird, in honour of Callister Brewing's Canada Cup Champion win. Must have been a tough one, as it's the first week we didn't get any replies with successful answers.
We'll go a bit easy this week. It's time for a working-class pick-me-up, appropriate for the season.
