The Mix-Pack: Samantha Lindeman's curated 4-pack of BC Beers
Wildeye's founder curates her favourite BC beers
Good morning!
Today we have the second of our monthly Mix-Pack Series, in which we ask a professional in BC's craft beer scene to walk us through their perfect 4-pack of BC beer.
For this edition, we asked Wildeye Brewing's Samantha Lindeman to share her mix-pack, and it's a great mix!
Did you miss our last mix-pack with Container Brewing's Dan Webster? You can find it here.
If you want your favourite 4-pack of BC beer featured in the newsletter, hit us up with a reply.
We hope you enjoy reading this as much as we did.

Wildeye Brewing
Your Curator: Samantha Lindeman
Official Title: Owner
Brewery: Wildeye Brewing
1. Studio Brewing - Daisy Chain
Why this beer: When I’m feeling that hop fatigue, I often go for saisons. This beer has great flavours of floral and citrus.
When to enjoy it: Anytime.
A great memory: I stopped by their brewery during opening week. It was great chatting with the staff and learning about their new brews.
Tasting Notes from Studio Brewing: Embrace your inner free-spirit and join us as we connect our favorite American hops with a whole lot of Belgian tradition in this New World Saison. Floral and citrus notes mingle with malted spelt for a transcendent drinking experience.
2. North Point Brewing - Beermosa IPA
Why this beer: It reminds me of a mimosa but with more volume.
When to enjoy it: This is the ultimate breakfast beer.
A great memory: Our neighbours to the West! North Point is a great spot, especially during a rainy day you can cozy up next to the fireplace and make fun of Liam Jeffries (North Point's owner)
Tasting Notes from North Point: This extra dry IPA has a high carbonation using champagne yeast. Orange concentrate added during fermentation along with a dry hop of Citra and Mandarina Bavaria. Light, juicy and refreshing just like your favourite brunch cocktail!
3. Persephone - Dry Irish Stout
Why this beer: It’s dessert in a can.
When to enjoy it: With ice cream.
A great memory: I always love visiting the brewery/farm. You can walk around, enjoy the gardens and visit their chickens while sipping on your beer.
Tasting notes from Persephone: Coffee-like aroma with undertones of freshly baked oatmeal cookies and toast with a subtle bitterness. Nitrogenated for a smooth texture.
4. Wildeye Brewing - Belgian Blond Rosé
Wildeye Brewing
Why this beer: Our brewmaster, Michael absolutely loves brewing Belgian beers. He joked to us “you know what would make this beer extra special? Adding grapes,” so that’s what we did.
When to enjoy it: Breakfast, lunch or dinner.
A great memory: My partner and I loaded up the delivery van with totes and drove down to the Okanagan during harvest to pick up the skins then stopped by a winery or two…
Tasting Notes from Wildeye Brewing: Based on the popularity of one of our first releases, our Belgian Blond, we wanted to elevate the beer even further. The Belgian Blond Rosé is aged on Pinot Noir Skins from @hatchwines and then naturally carbonated. Still easy-drinking, pairs with everything, and more imaginary than ever!
